Department of Architecture (DiDA) of the University of Florence
and Professor of Architectural Technology (until 31.10.2017).
Member of the TESIS (Interuniversity Research Centre on Technologies and Systems for Social and Health Structures).
Representative University of Florence in the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Research and Innovation of the University of Florence.
Member of the ANVUR (National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes) Experts Committee for the Architecture Research Area in the Research Quality Evaluation (VQR) 2011-2014 and 2004-2010.
Member of the Italian Society of Architectural Technology SITdA.
Member of the Association Italian Network Life Cycle Assessment.
Member of the CNETO -National Centre for Hospital Buildings and Technology.
Member of the technical group of ITACA for the definition of Italian ecolabels for buildings.
Expert Member of the Technical Committee of the European Commission for Standardization, CEN TC 350 Sustainability of Construction Works (2008 – 2014)
Expert Member of evaluation team of technical offers in many tenders for Hospital Buildings.
Main research lines: Health Care Buildings; Built Environment Sustainability, Building Systems, Products and Materials Innovation and Standardization.
In the field of Health Care Buildings is author of scientific books and papers, such as Lo spazio dei diritti.
