Daniela d’Alessandro is a Medical Doctor trained in Medicine and Surgery at University Sapienza, Rome. She achieved a Master of Science in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a PhD in Public Health at University Sapienza, Rome.
She is currently Full Professor of Hygiene at University Sapienza, Rome and Director of the Specialization School in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine at Faculty of Medicine (2009-2012).
She is coordinator of Doctoral studies in “Architectural engineering and Urbanism” and president of the Council of Engineering studies in the same University. She is scientific committee member of CCM at the Ministry of Health. She authored more than 400 scientific publications and she is involved in research activities in the field of environmental, building and hospital hygiene.
