Andrea Brambilla is an Architect, PhD Candidate at Politecnico di Milano, Department Architecture Built Environment Construction Engineering in Complex Construction field with a research about Innovative Tools for Healthcare Facilities Design, Planning and Management.

He is author of some publication in national and international Journals, speaker in national and International Conferences and mentioned in national and international Award about the relationship between built environment and health.

Graduated in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano and Sustainable Architecture at Politecnico di Torino (Alta Scuola Politecnica) with honors, he has acquired experiences in healthcare architecture in a II level Specializing Master with the schools of Architecture and Medicine and in his activities as Consultant in Private and Public Hospital Management with Fondazione Politecnico di Milano and EY-Ernst&Young.

He did also several consultant activities for Architectural Offices in tenders for new Hospital Design.  He is scientific secretariat of international conference of Design & Health and social media communication manager in postgraduate university master about Sport Infrastructures.

He is teaching assistant at Politecnico di Milano in BsC, MsC and postgraduate courses in Technological Design, Healthcare Planning and Sport infrastructures. He is member of Cneto (Centro Nazionale Edilizia e Tecnica Ospedaliera) and European board member of the International Academy for Design & Health.

He is one of the finalists of the Gold Medal of Architecture 2018 T-Young Claudio De Albertis Award Triennale di Milano and member of the SustHealth team, one of the first-step finalists of the Switch2Product 2018 innovation challenge. He is Representative of PhD in ABC Department and co-founder and executive board member of Italian PhD Valorization association (Comitato per la Valorizzazione del Dottorato di Ricerca).
